The Wi-Fi was frustratingly weak, so watching YouTube smoothly could be difficult. Noise also travels easily: I could hear someone in the next room sneeze, and could clearly make out people talking as they passed my door. Getting to the subway takes longer than expected, since the walk isn't short and involves crossing several roads. The room itself looks great, and the big glass windows make it feel more spacious. Some rooms may have a partial sea view. There's also a food delivery locker beside the hotel lobby.

We only stayed one night to enjoy the hotel, and knew before booking that it wasn't close to other places. Our room had a great view, the bed was really comfortable, the lighting was amazing, and it was smoke-free. The huge gym was our favorite part, with every kind of equipment we could imagine. We didn't use the pools because swimming caps were required, though they looked great. There were lots of kids around, many heading to the pool with floaties, so it probably isn't the best spot for a quiet pool visit. At the restaurant, service was a little slow despite there not being many people, which was fine. They were out of wings when I ordered, so I chose something else. We had a free coffee swipe with the room, but the coffee was out on our floor and we never got to try it. We also missed the brewery, which we'd like to try if we return. We'd stay here again if we're in Shenzhen. It's a 40 minute drive from the airport, and we'd love to come back.

The treatment rooms at RUN SPA at the Jen Hotel were spacious, spotless, and had high-quality amenities. I had a deep tissue massage with Anna, who was very skilled and used just the right pressure to ease the knots and tension from a long work week without making it too intense. It felt truly restorative. Beforehand, the staff asked carefully about my preferences and what I wanted them to focus on. From the herbal tea on arrival to the quiet area for relaxing afterward, everything felt thoughtfully arranged for guests' well-being. The service was professional, welcoming, and attentive. The calm music, soft lights, and gentle aroma made a peaceful haven out of the busy energy of Qianhai. This was the best spa experience I've had in Shenzhen, and the quality and service are worth every penny. Whether you're a guest at the hotel or live locally in Qianhai, book a treatment. You'll leave feeling renewed. A perfect 10/10, and I'll absolutely be back.

The small gift from the hotel made me feel right at home, and those thoughtful little touches are why I keep coming back. Since my last visit, Hotel Jen in Shenzhen has become my all-time favorite. The service is impeccable, everything is spotless, the gym is well equipped, and the shower products are good quality. It was a busy weekend, though, and I still had to wait when I came back to check in at 10 PM after leaving my bags earlier. The room next door was a bit noisy around midnight. Those were minor hassles alongside an otherwise fantastic stay. Highly recommended!
