My stay at Kyushu Joycheng was perfect. The room was very clean, had smart facilities, and offered beautiful views. Mr James at reception was kind and welcoming. I'll definitely come back.

The hotel itself is good, but I can't get my business-trip room reimbursed because they won't answer the phone. The customer service has been poor.

The rooms were comfortable, and the buffet had a wide choice of Asian dishes, though fewer Western ones. Staff had limited English, but that wasn't an issue if someone in your group spoke Chinese. The map pin is in the wrong spot. The hotel is on the corner of Minghua Rd and Nanhai Blvd, on the opposite corner from where Google Maps shows it. It's a five-star hotel by China standards, though I'd give it four stars by international standards. The location worked really well for the Seaworld precinct in Shen Zhen. We picked it as our first stop in Shen Zhen after taking the ferry from Hong Kong Airport to SheKou Harbour. From the harbor it was a short bus ride, as long as you'd already arranged your Shenzhen tap on card for public transport.
