Bo'an Park is close by and well worth visiting, and there are some great street food places near the hotel. It's a well-run, affordable hotel in the Bo'an district, with Honglang North subway station nearby for getting around Shenzhen. The subway also makes it easy to reach the airport.

There's a Walmart across the street, which is handy, and the subway station is about a 5-minute walk away. There aren't any Japanese restaurants nearby. Rooms are on the building's second and third floors. The ones facing Walmart get a bit noisy, though it didn't bother me. The TV has mainland China and Hong Kong channels only, and free Wi-Fi is available. The slippers are disposable, and the room comes with two free bottles of water. Most rooms just have showers, but two have bathtubs. There's no bathtub stopper, so you'll need the 20 yuan disposable bath cover provided in the room or bring your own. The shower has two heads, one fixed and one handheld, and the water pressure is decent.
