Mosquitoes were all over the place, and the beds were among the cheapest I’ve seen, noisy and uncomfortable. It’s an odd setup where quite a few people seem to live in the dorms. I shared a room with a guy who was clearly living there and gaming on his desktop until after 3am. Fine for one night, but I wouldn’t stay longer unless I planned to live here.

I stayed here in 2023 and came back in 2026. It's a handy little spot if you mainly need somewhere to sleep and shower while you explore the city. There’s street food and hotpot nearby, and a supermarket about 200-300m away. Enjoy!

For the price, this is a solid hotel in an established neighborhood with restaurants for all kinds of tastes. The metro is about a 15-minute walk. There’s no real service to speak of: I got my key on arrival and went straight to a clean room with good, fresh linens. The room has a kettle, and the shared area has a microwave and a fridge with drinks and snacks you can buy. The AC handled the hottest summer weather, and both hot and cold water had good pressure. Most of the guests seemed to be Chinese students, often on their laptops.
