I liked seeing the local neighborhood behind the hotel, with its older buildings and distinctly Chinese feel from the 70s and 80s. The street out front is wide and good for running. The hotel's about 5 km from central Shenzhen and 8 km from Shenzhen North Station. My room was clean and cozy, though a bit dated and equipped with just the basics. Breakfast was fine, with plenty of options. There’s also a pool and gym, though I didn't get time to try either. March weather wasn't great, with high humidity and grey skies. Maybe it gets better later in March.

ZhuZiLin subway station's B2 exit is right in front of the lobby, so the location is great for the metro. The hotel itself was just okay, and the bathroom lock in my room didn't work.

I stayed here in 2011 and again in 2013. The hotel looks beautiful inside and out, and my room was clean and comfortable. The coffee break was AMAZING, and the Tsingtao beer was really cold. I thought the price was good for what you get, and I'd definitely recommend it.

There's plenty of room, and the metro station is right outside, which makes getting around very convenient.

Breakfast had plenty to choose from and was acceptable, though there was no fresh fruit juice. The hotel is good, but the rooms are starting to feel a little dated.
