The hotel is close to lots of shopping malls and Chinese street food, with KFC, McDonald's and other Chinese fast food easy to find. Metro and bus services run until midnight, so getting around can be convenient and save on transport costs while enjoying Shenzhen. The hotel is a little old and could use improvements in some areas, but if you're looking for an inexpensive city stay, I'd definitely suggest it.

The staff were rude and unhelpful, and there was no safe, among other issues. Even though I requested a non-smoking room, mine smelled of cigarette smoke and mold. The worst hotel I've stayed in.

The service was good, and the price was reasonable. The rooms have an old design, though the toilet was clean. It's right in the city center, so getting a private car to stop can be tricky. The location makes it easy to get a taxi, food, shopping, and views.
