For around HK$700 a night, I expected better amenities. It was so hard to spot the hotel from outside, tucked behind a wall, and I walked past the entrance twice because the signs weren't clear. The rooms are spacious but dark, with too little lighting. Mosquitoes came in from the balcony, and there was mold in the corners. At least the shower and toilet are separate, the showerhead is powerful, and there's plenty of hot water. The buffet breakfast was included and served in a big window area, but it was sweaty and didn't offer much variety. The breakfast bag was damp, the milk was room temperature, and there were only about 20 hot dishes, including two kinds of porridge and noodles. Coffee and tea were hot, but the coffee tasted burnt, not like dark roast, and went sour as it cooled. Even the lobby machine coffee cost extra, one cup for a group of 30 or more people... The overnight package came with a 30-minute yacht trip arranged by the front desk. It was just a straight loop and back, nothing special. The staff did enthusiastically point out east, west, south, and north, which was nice. There was also a welcome drink at the beach, but it was hot and it was 30 degrees Celsius that day, so I skipped it. The location is good, but maybe it's because I'm on a budget, I didn't think the rest was worth it. You won't know until you try!
