Shenzhen Nanshan Science Park high-tech Central ATOURS Hotel

There’s a convenience store, a bank, and a food court downstairs at Shenzhen Science Park High-tech Zone Zhongyaduo S Hotel. We bought two-day tickets online for Shenzhen Safari Park. On Sunday, we got there around 11 am. It was spacious and not too crowded, and entry took under five minutes. You can see the zoo by mini-train, family electric vehicle, or on foot. With no line for the family vehicles, I rented one right away for $120 RMB per 60 minutes, with overtime at $2 RMB per minute. They held a $500 RMB deposit, which was deducted from the return price. We only did one loop because of time, taking 77 minutes with stops, then explored and played at our own pace. Monday was much quieter, with no queue. We chose an all-day unlimited mini-train ticket, $40 RMB for adults and $20 RMB for children, and went to the last stop, "Valley of the Beasts," for the caged tiger ride. Around 11:30 am there were about 20 people waiting. It cost $50 RMB each, and we waited about 15 minutes. Everyone got a fork and some meat to feed the tigers up close. It was spectacular. From the nearby pedestrian bridge, you can watch people feeding the tigers, or see and feed bears for $20 RMB. Afterward, the mini-train lets you get on and off at different stations to explore the attractions. Weekends and weekdays differ in crowd levels and train schedules. Some attractions may be unavailable, open later, or have shorter hours on one day or the other. The park has a huge variety and number of animals, with close encounters for many of them, including elephants and giraffes. There are plenty of paid options too, such as family electric car rentals, the mini-train, animal cage rides, amusement rides, VR experiences, other rides, and shows. Compared with nearby zoos, this is generally considered one of the best experiences. Our trip ran from 27/12/2025 to 30/12/2025. Day 1: high-speed rail to Futian, then the hotel, OCT Happy Coast, lunch at Bao Zhuang Yuan, Ocean Dream Museum, Water Electric Vehicle, Mini Train, Coastal City Shopping Center (City Code), Shenzhen Bay Pedestrian Street, Haiya Colorful Plaza, Wenxin 1st Road Pedestrian Street, then Raffles City for Jargee and dinner at Huaji Claypot Rice. Day 2: Shenzhen Safari Park, family electric vehicles, motorized rides, giraffe feeding and camel riding, then Baoneng Global Center (Xili Store), children's electric vehicles, dinner at Le Caesar Pizza, and Big Clips. Day 3: back to Shenzhen Safari Park for the Mini Train, Animal Cage Car, feeding elephants and camel riding, then Baoneng Taikoo City, Joymark Add, dinner at Baheli Chaoshan Fresh Beef Hot Pot, and Xuancifang (Video Games).
