Shenzhen Port Apartment

The hotel Hotels.com arranged for me after the first booking fell through also turned out to be a problem. The phone number they provided led to a different place, Mint Appart International Hotel, and when I gave my name there, they had no reservation for me. The original booking was for Lai Ying Garden City Hostel, but its building wasn't there, and I ended up sleeping outside. Hotels.com then booked this alternative as an apology, but it seems that building no longer exists either. I consulted the police and am asking Hotels.com for a refund. Hotels.com listed the alternative as Shenzhen Port Apartment, at 2F, No. 6017, Binhai Plaza, Binhai Avenue, Futian, Shenzhen, Guangdong China. The address for Mint Appart International Hotel was similar: 2F, No. 6017, Binhai Plaza, Binhai Avenue, Futian, Shenzhen, Guangdong China. I don't know what Binhai Plaza, Binhai Avenue is. There is another hostel in Futian District, and the listed address was also in Futian District, so I asked the police for advice. Both the hotel I booked and the replacement seem to be out of existence. This feels like a scam, taking money for a place that isn't a hotel.
