Smoking is allowed, which was the one downside I wanted to mention, so it may not suit you if smoke bothers you. The place is clean enough, though, and I actually found it much better than a three-star rating suggests. Ms Ying at reception was patient, upbeat, and ready to help. I needed assistance with the delivery app, placing an order, sorting out a wrong delivery, and negotiating with the seller, and she responded positively each time. A thumbs-up for staff with that kind of attitude.

The location worked really well, and the staff were friendly and helpful whenever I had questions. I stayed for five days and didn't have anything bad to say about the place. My room had what I needed, including a toothbrush, towels, and slippers, and it was clean with daily housekeeping.

Really great service, and the rooms were better than a five-star hotel in Hong Kong!

The manager's service was awful, and he was very rude, making me feel like I was worth less. When I stayed here, I asked to use the bathroom as I was leaving and the staff bluntly refused. If you want to avoid a bad experience, don't stay here.

The breakfast spread was a highlight, with Western options like eggs, sausages, cereal, and pastries alongside noodle soup, congee, dumplings, and soft buns. The room was spacious, clean, and had what I needed for a short stay. Staff were friendly and spoke English well. For the price, the quality was great, and the location was convenient, about five minutes from both the metro and a shopping mall.
