The Skytel Hotel Shenzhen Central Park

The room was clean and minimal, and the hotel itself was nice and tidy. Breakfast leaned heavily toward Chinese food, with very few Western options. The basin was in the room, while the shower and toilet were separate. That setup could work for a couple, but sharing with friends or family may feel awkward if you don’t want each other seeing you naked. Both doors are opaque glass. We visited in the first week of November 2025, when builders were working on the floor above us, which was annoying. Reception staff spoke limited English, and we spoke no Chinese, but using a translator to communicate was kind of fun. The address on Google Maps is wrong, and AMAP doesn’t show the hotel either. It’s next to The 8th Affiliated University Hospital. FUXING is the nearest subway station, about 250 metres away. It’s a new line, and we found that out the hard way. The photo has it circled in red.
