The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning worked, which mattered most when I was traveling with my kid. But it smelled awful of cigarettes. Check-in took far too long, with a 1.5-hour delay, and the bus trip there was unpleasant too. It was packed with luggage, the driver shouted, and we were left waiting. After a Shenzhen Airlines delay, they provided this hotel about 10 minutes from the airport. I appreciated having a room, but the long wait and poor service really spoiled the comfort.

The staff were friendly and the room was okay, but cigarette smoke was everywhere, from the lobby to the room and breakfast area, even though there were no-smoking signs.

The streets around the hotel are lively, with shops for food and everyday things close by. It's near the airport and Huangtian subway station, and the hotel itself looks quite nice.

There wasn't much to see while waiting for my flight, so I just wandered around the nearby shops and restaurants, then the streets and park where people exercised. It was a pleasant area with fresh air. The hotel is close to the airport, has spacious, clean rooms, and provided a convenient shuttle both from the airport and back, arriving three hours before my flight. Check-in was easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful, always smiling, though they spoke only a little English. Breakfast had plenty of options but tasted average. The room service lunch, though, was fantastic. I stayed here during a layover with Shenzhen Airlines before my return flight to Thailand.
