The room was fantastic, really large and comfortable, with a luxurious feel. Even from the 23/F the views weren't bad. The extra-wide bathtub was the highlight, though it takes a while to fill. The building's shape makes it a bit skinny, which leaves a small check-in lobby and an awkward breakfast restaurant layout. I was there to check in around 1430 and was first told I'd have to wait an hour in that tiny lobby. After I pointed out check-in was at 1400, they found me a room on another floor that was ready. Breakfast was a pretty good spread. I put together an English breakfast, and the food was fresh and warm at 0630. I went right when it opened after a night of drinking.

We got an upgrade, and the location was a big reason for my five stars. The reception area isn't especially fancy, but the staff are helpful and try to sort things out. The restaurant on the 5th floor is worth trying for proper Chinese food, which was very good. Breakfast could use a big improvement.

Getting around was easy: Gangxia Metro Line 1 and 10 is right outside, Shenzhen Exhibition & Convention Centre is an easy walk, Coco Mall is fun, and Intown Mall has a few restaurants. There's also a convenience shop at the doorstep. I was staying for an exhibition. Breakfast was cheap and good, and I always ate too much. The service was excellent, especially from Yang Wu at reception. Even though he was wearing a mask and clearly unwell, he patiently explained how to navigate Shenzhen Metro. A lot of things need OTP codes that my foreign roaming number couldn't receive, but the staff were always happy to help. Thank you so much, highly recommended.

The hotel is very conveniently placed in Futian district, just 15min from the Futian border crossing. My room was large, clean and very nice, and service was very good. The breakfast buffet was large and quite high standard.

The breakfast buffet was amazing, and the rooms felt very cosy. The hotel is central to most things, with Shenzhen Conference and Exhibition Centre about a 15-minute walk away.
