The location is the one good thing here. The place needs a serious cleaning: there was a sewage smell, dust everywhere, and two dead cockroaches in the bathroom. That's unacceptable, even for somewhere quite affordable.

The location is really handy as a base. The hotel is right by Science Museum Station, with convenience stores, Saizeriya, cafes, and plenty of places to eat nearby. Huaqiangbei is also within walking distance. Around Aihua Market, shops start opening at about 10 p.m., and the area stays lively until dawn. The rooms are spacious, but quite old. Some things are hard to overlook, like a closet that won't close and a sofa covered in stains. There's a drain smell around the hotel entrance, though it doesn't smell inside. The entrance itself is tucked beyond the parking lot and can be hard to find. It suits people who can accept those drawbacks. They use key cards, the front desk is staffed around the clock, and foreign guests can stay.
