I didn't stay long enough to explore much, but there are several malls nearby, lots of places to eat, and a Starbucks. The hotel was nice for my one-night stay. If you don't speak Chinese, definitely bring Google Translate or a phrasebook.

The room was clean and cozy, and the staff were helpful, though they didn't speak English. The Wi-Fi barely worked, which was a problem.

It worked well for a business trip, and it's close to Hong Kong. The price was reasonable for Shenzhen, though the hotel is a long way from downtown.

I found a cockroach flying around my room. I was disgusted, but the reception staff acted like it was normal.

The rooms were tidy and had a lovely view across the city, and the food was really tasty. Everyone at YUELIN HOTEL welcomed us warmly and was helpful. I had a great time visiting the city and staying there, and would recommend it.
