Yinxingyuan ▪ Courtyard Homestay (Ancient City of Zhengding Longxing Temple)

A peaceful visit, with lovely gardens and architecture around this beautiful old temple and Buddhist monastery. There are vendors on the grounds selling water, snacks, and gifts.

This historic temple is over 1,000 years old, from the Ming and Shing Dynasty. Guan Yin architecture is the standout. Definitely recommend visiting!

Plan for at least an hour here. Longxing Temple (Longxing Temple), officially, is a beautiful, very large complex with lovely grounds, and its huge copper Guanyin is especially impressive. Entry is 50 RMB. Locals, some maps and the bus stop call it Big Buddha Temple (Big Buddha Temple), which can be confusing. Unlike the other Zhengding temples, which are lit up and open until 11 pm, this one closes at 5:30 pm. Getting there is easy: it's about a 20-minute cab ride or drive from the center. You can also take bus 177 from the medical university stop (Hebei Medical University), north of the stadium on Zhongshan Road, to Zhengding Nanmen (Zhengding South Gate). With a transport card, you'll be asked to pay again when you leave the previous payment zone. From there, walk into the walled town and look for the map showing directions to this temple and the others in Zhengding.

There wasn't much to interest me, apart from the ice cream. Pretty boring.
