The food at the Chinese restaurant YUE was nicely prepared, and we enjoyed every dish. They serve Cantonese and Huaiyang cuisine. Our suite was spacious and had plenty of high-tech extras, including an air cleaner, humidifier, and a closet for sanitizing clothes. We had a great stay.

The bed was really comfortable and breakfast was decent, but there were several problems. The hotel is huge and visible from far away. The area around it is isolated and very dark at night. In the morning you can see the lake, though one side has an ugly wall in front of it. The room was large, with a high ceiling, and felt comfortable. The bathroom setup was odd: just one waterproof curtain that wouldn’t close properly, so the area got wet after a shower. The toilet had no door, making it look unfinished. There was a low-temperature warning that day, and the room stayed cold even with the heat on. I asked the front desk, and they said they’d send an electric heater and have maintenance check it. A heater did arrive, but the staff member said the heating wasn’t on yet and only the air conditioning was available. That explains the cold, but nobody from maintenance came afterward.
