Ms. Alison's attention to detail showed in how she personally oversaw things. She led with quiet authority, kept standards from slipping, and treated guests and staff respectfully and encouragingly. The front office ran efficiently under her, with a clear focus on guests from check-in through departure. Each interaction felt warm and precise, and her team anticipated needs, made things personal, and handled issues quickly and sincerely. Her influence on team spirit and morale was easy to see. Even when things were busy, the front desk, concierge, and guest services staff worked smoothly together, keeping the atmosphere calm and luxurious. That consistency reflects strong leadership, good training, and a culture where employees are trusted to take responsibility for the guest experience. Ms. Alison is a manager of rare quality.

There are miles of paved walking paths by the lake, with lovely lotus and water lily ponds, and our room's balcony looked out over Yangcheng Lake. The location deserves five stars. The food was amazing, including dinner, where they happily accommodated my dietary preferences, and the afternoon tea was great too. The beekeeping experience we signed up for was amazing. Fairmont really stands out for service. The downside was a strange, unpleasant smell throughout the hotel, especially in the rooms.

It's a huge resort with a good, spacious room. The bellboy wasn't very attentive, and the English-speaking staff need improvement.

It's right by Yangcheng Lake, and many of the lake-view rooms are fantastic. We had a great family weekend here. Charging an electric car in the car park was easy. Breakfast is average, but I love the local noodle dish called “Aozao”.

There were lots of activities, though they were all quite expensive. The buffet had a good variety and was good quality, and the building and facilities were pleasant. Our room wasn't very clean. The hotel couldn't get us a glass of milk for our baby, and the lobby toilets had no soap or towels.
