There are two sides to this big hotel, one that's super upscale and one that's more average. We were with the Nexus tour and stayed on the average side, which was still nice. If you can use the ATM on the other side, do, it's gorgeous. Our rooms were comfortable and clean, breakfast was good, and there are lots of good restaurants just down the street.

The Wi-Fi was sluggish, but the standing shower was perfect after a long day. I was tired from walking in the houtong of Beijing, a plane ride, and an hour and a half ride. It was just one night, but the room was warm, well equipped, and had an awesome bed.

The bed was hard as a rock, even though the room was clean and well decorated. The grounds were also clean and well kept. At breakfast, the buffet had enough Western-style choices to suit just about anyone.

Breakfast came later and had fewer dishes than at other hotels. The room layout wasn't good either: there was a glass wall between the beds and washroom, so one person's shower disturbed the other's sleep. The shower door also doubled as the washroom door.

A simple, neat, clean hotel. It was quiet and peaceful, and not very crowded since it's away from the city area. The restaurant didn't have much variety.
