There isn't much to do nearby, and the food was mediocre. The rooms were okay, but the staff didn't speak English.

I still miss the mushroom oil noodles we had at breakfast each day. They were cooked to order and delicious, with pine mushrooms from Yushan, a local specialty. I've never come across noodles topped with mushroom oil in Taiwan. The buffet had plenty of other choices too. We slept well in the spacious, clean rooms, and it was nice to have a bathtub for a soak. Changshu International Hotel was comfortable, and its location made it easy to get to Yushan National Forest Park and Xingfu Temple, the old temple dating back to the Qiliang period. When we arrived in Changshu City, Jiangsu Province, China, we checked into the Changshu International Hotel, the only five-star hotel in Changshu.
