The rooms are spacious, and the service is impeccable. The hotel sits right by the lake, with a gorgeous view during the day. I do wish the gym and spa opened earlier, though. 6 a.m. is too late for international travelers dealing with jet lag.

I've run into this cleanliness problem twice now. First at Grand Kempinski Hotel Shanghai, and this time at Kempinski Hotel Suzhou. It's disgusting!!!!! If you're thinking of booking, I'd strongly suggest you think twice.
