I don’t see why this hotel has a five-star rating. It’s nothing special, and Super 8 is just as good for less. Super 8 has hot water, while here it was only warm. The only upside was that the neighbors smoked so much the smoke got into my room, so I didn’t need to smoke for the rest of the weekend. The next morning we saw the room beside ours was a stairwell, and its window wasn’t sealed. We had a cold draft all night. That took my rating from two stars down to one.

Everything else was okay, but the hotel feels a bit out of the way. Within a mile, there seem to be no shops, restaurants, or even taxis. You really need to rent a car to stay here.

There’s a mini mart beside the hotel and a mall nearby. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was clean.

The room was fairly large, reasonably quiet, and inexpensive, with a decent bed. That may explain the rest: the hotel is run-down, the hallway carpet is stained, and the room windows look like they haven’t been cleaned in ages. The bathroom feels old-fashioned, and there’s no refrigerator.
