We only stayed two nights, but really liked the place. It’s a simple hotel with a youthful feel. I accidentally left my power bank behind, and the staff kindly sent it on to Nanjing, where I’d gone next. Great service and a good atmosphere.

The rooms are modern and quiet, and the location makes it easy to reach the subway and nearby sights. Staff were welcoming and spoke English. They also include a drink and a meal, which makes this a handy base for seeing Suzhou’s gardens.

There are a few books in the first-floor lobby seating area, though the selection is small. The gym is downstairs, and you can still smell some of the renovation work.

The metro is close by, and the hotel feels new and is very clean. Staff were friendly and spoke English. The rooms had all the comforts we needed.
