It’s a quiet, upscale-feeling place beside beautiful Dushu Lake. Suzhou City Center is about 10 to 15 km away.

The rooms are spacious and well equipped, and the location is handy, with good roads and transport nearby. There are trees and greenery all around, and the lake is lovely for evening walks. The breakfast is a real draw: lots of options, maybe even too many, and everything I tried was good quality. If you can include it in your stay, do. It’s one of the rare hotel breakfasts that feels worth the price. If you’re short on time, they give you two plastic containers to fill and take with you. The staff are helpful and don’t make a fuss if you make a mistake. Ben, the head of the hotel, is a great guy, and the staff seem to like him too. I can’t recommend the place enough.

The area is quiet, with a reasonable number of restaurants nearby. My room was clean and spacious, with a view over the lake. The hotel's breakfast buffet is worth having too.
