The dirty tableware was the main thing I took away from breakfast at the Suzhou Park Hyatt Hotel on October 25, 2025. My fork had food stuck to it, and the bowls and cups didn't look clean either. With soup, eggs, and a cappuccino in front of me, that really got in the way of enjoying the meal and made me question the hygiene standards. The dining room itself was lovely, with big windows looking out onto greenery and a refined interior. Staff were pleasant too, and the atmosphere was nice. Still, clean plates and cutlery should be a basic priority at a luxury hotel, especially at breakfast. I hope management addresses it soon. Until then, I'd be cautious about expecting a flawless meal there.

Dinner here changed my mind about Huaiyang food. Every dish was delicious, and this is the best Huaiyang dinner in town.

I've held Hyatt Lifetime Globalist status and stayed at quite a few Park Hyatt and Andaz hotels around the world. This one stands out, especially for its restaurant and staff. It's among the best I've experienced, possibly the best, and I'll definitely come back.

I really liked the koi pond, it's such a peaceful, charming part of the property. The staff are warm and attentive, and make an effort to help you feel welcome. The location also makes it easy to get around the area while still feeling like a quiet retreat. Highly recommended.

The public spaces are fantastic, and the rooms are very nice. The new metro line makes getting to key sights easy, then you can come back to the quiet lakeside setting. There are quite a few staffing issues when dealing with non-Chinese guests. Management is hands-on, though, and I'm sure things will improve as the hotel matures.
