The Song Shu Yu and Dong Po Rou at Joy Soo Restaurant are delicious, and the Suzhou cooking feels authentic. I hope they’re just as good when I come back.

The gym is nice, but the food wasn't great and there's nothing near the hotel. The room thermostat doesn't actually control the temperature, the hotel does, and it was far too hot for me.

The air conditioning is noisy, and I missed that familiar Marriott feeling. The rooms are small, though the bathrooms are okay. Honestly, it feels like a Chinese Marriott.

The best part was the Club Lounge buffet: breakfast and dinner were served hot, which was a first during our lengthy trip around China. We felt welcome and at home here. Every staff member was delightful, kind, and helpful, and our well-designed room was kept to a very high standard. A hotel I'd gladly recommend.

I spent a week here in May 2017 and tried all the restaurants. The food was great, and the complimentary breakfast had plenty of choices. Staff were courteous and helped arrange taxis for my commute. My room was neat and clean, with a big bathroom. An excellent hotel.
