Google’s location marker is wrong. This is the former Holiday Inn Jasmine, refreshed and rebranded as a well equipped, reasonably priced new property. The rooms are comfortable and the furnishings are practical. Breakfast is okay, with a decent spread. It’s in a great spot beside the canal and in the heart of Suzhou. Since the other Hyatt hotels are in the newer part of the city, this is a good option, especially for the rates.

I heard this hotel had just opened in 2024, so I gave it a try and was very impressed. The location is great, the free laundry machines are a real plus, and the bed was comfortable. The room amenities were high quality.
