Inzone Galand Hotel Taian

We had a Ganoderma lucidum feast for lunch today, since Mount Tai is known for its high-quality reishi mushroom. The first course was steamed egg topped with two wood-like pieces of Ganoderma lucidum. The mushroom had no color or smell, so it was really just decoration. The egg layer was like straw paper and pretty oily. They call it a traditional Shandong dish, but Thick-Eyebrowed Boy wasn't much of a fan. The Three-Flavor Soup used Mount Tai tofu, fresh Mount Tai vegetables, and Mount Tai mineral water. People say that water is excellent, second in Shandong only to Laoshan mineral water. The food was good, though a little greasy. Since we were going hiking afterwards, Thick-Eyebrowed Boy didn't mind and ate plenty.
