The rooms are spacious and clean, and the Wi-Fi works well. There's a water dispenser in the shared area with hot water too. Getting here from the station on foot is possible if you make the effort. The hostel handled check-in for Japanese guests staying without a visa smoothly. One street east of Tsutengai, there are lots of delicatessens and shops, which is handy. You can catch a bus to Mount Tai at the stop beside the Public Security Bureau.
The place is clean and cute, and the girl who runs it is really friendly and attentive. We loved staying here. Wi-Fi reaches the room, and they even kept our luggage for free after checkout. Finding it at night was a bit tricky since it's halfway along the block, across an alley. There's a delicious, inexpensive noodle place nearby on the corner.
I got a six-person room to myself for the night, which was pretty funny since most guests were planning to climb Mount Tai overnight. The room was really spacious, and the front desk staff were friendly and usually happy to help. XD
It can be tricky to spot in the dark, but once you're there it's clean and pleasant. The hobby girl was really kind and spoke English.
