The lounge was a real highlight, with superb cocktails and an amazing experience. Ms. Shang, the executive manager, and her bartenders made the stay unforgettable. The rooms were spotless and extra spacious, and the management staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast was excellent too. The brand-new Sheraton Hotel in Taiyuan is in the middle of the city's new commercial and economic hub, close to the high-speed railway station and international airport. Outstanding five-star customer service. I'd highly recommend staying here again.

I was here for three nights on a business trip, near Taiyuan Metro Line 2, which was due to open in 2024. My Platinum room was upgraded to the executive floor, though it didn't have a bathtub. The room wasn't very soundproof, which seems to be a problem with most hotels here. Within a five-minute walk, there are convenience stores and restaurants near the hospital. The 12th-floor lounge runs from 10:00 to 22:00. Its food was so-so, and the hot dishes weren't great, so I didn't feel like going back. Breakfast had lots of options and leaned Chinese, including Datong mutton offal if you want to try it. The gym is on B1, open 24 hours, with limited but complete equipment. The pool has set opening hours.
