The view is great and breakfast was impressive, though the rooms were only okay. My first room smelled like cigarettes and a dumpster. In the replacement room, I couldn't adjust the temperature and it got far too hot at night. They also spray a strange perfume in the lobby that made me feel a bit nauseated.

For me, this hotel in LINHAI has the best view, and the room was nice and cozy. It's about 15 minutes from the China Great Wall in Taizhou Ancient city. Great value!

Tina at reception was kind and helpful, and the staff helped me with an upgrade and tried to sort things out. The rooms are modern and fantastic, with a big TV, comfortable bed, lots of space, good views, and handy controls for the lights and curtains. The gym is small but fine for simple workouts, with a cable machine, decent weights, and plenty of cardio equipment. There's also a very good laundry room. Breakfast is basic but okay. What's missing is a restaurant. You can order in, but Linhai has limited choices. KFC and Mc Donald's are across the road if you need them.

The service was excellent, and I enjoyed the breakfast. The environment is great, but there are too many people smoking in the building, and even the air conditioning smells of smoke. If you're sensitive to smoke, I'd avoid staying here.
