The location is right in the center of Huangyan, with restaurants, bars, cafes, and shopping centers all an easy walk away. The beds are big and comfortable, and the rooms are spacious, although they're showing some wear. Every room even has an old computer. About half the rooms, especially on the corridor's right side, have a great canal view. The breakfast buffet has plenty of choices, but it wasn't quite to my taste. Reception staff speak English, which is a real advantage in China. After many years, the Romantic Hotel in Huangyan, Taizhou isn't the area's best anymore, though it still has its strengths.

Restaurants and supermarkets are within walking distance. The rooms were quite large and clean, though there was some wear and tear.

The reception staff speak English, and room service was great. My room looked good, and the breakfast was amazing. A very nice hotel for foreigners.
