Not bad. The room was clean and had the things I needed. You can't get the WiFi working without a Chinese phone number, so you'll need help from reception. There are plenty of dishes at the restaurant, and the food seems well prepared. No one at the hotel speaks English, but they use little automatic translators to communicate. There are a few small shops nearby, though nothing especially worth mentioning.

The rooms were decent, and the daily cleaning kept them tidy during my business stay at Fudao International Hotel. Staff were friendly, polite, and willing to help, and the laundry service could be useful for anyone staying more than a week. Breakfast had a good range of choices, though I found it odd that there was no black coffee. The spread otherwise had almost everything I needed in the morning. The Wi-Fi kept cutting out, which made it harder to stay connected and get work done. I also had trouble adjusting the shower water temperature. Those were frustrating parts of the stay, alongside the missing coffee. The rooms and cleaning were fine, and the staff and laundry service were definite positives. For a business trip, it might do if those areas could use some improvement.

The restaurant is very good for international travelers. The hotel itself is good too, though construction on a large nearby building brings a lot of noise and vibration into the room from 0700-1800.
