7 Days Inn (Tianjin The Tientsin Eye Ferris Wheel)

The location was a real plus, close to Tianjin Eye and the Ancient Culture Street. I had high expectations for URcove Hotel because it's a Hyatt hotel, and the room facilities and breakfast lived up to them. Even the capsule coffee machine and capsules in the room were a nice extra. I also loved exploring the Italian Landscape Tourist Area, then taking a four-person tricycle carriage back to the hotel. It felt like a relaxing riverside stroll instead of a taxi ride. The Gouburi Dumpling House there was delicious. I was already full but still tried several meat and vegetable dumplings. Definitely worth trying, and I hope you bring back some Tianjin specialty donuts too. One small thing, I wish some of the front desk staff had looked a little more cheerful. A smile from the staff makes guests feel happier as well.

There's a lot to like here: spacious rooms, great pillows, and a very comfortable bed. I found the amenities perfect for my needs, from the large TV and Dyson hair dryer to the stylish toilet. There's also a mini fridge with welcome drinks, capsule coffee, and evening snacks on the first floor. Breakfast is generous, the counter service is excellent, and the women there are friendly. Even a robot! The smart apps were a pleasant surprise. At night you can see the river and Tianjin Eye, and the location is good value for the price. I did notice a cigarette smell, though, and you can ask them to fix it.

I loved my two-night stay at the Tianjin Eye Hotel on March 4th, 2026. From my corner river view room I could see Jingang Bridge and seagulls through the window, with the Ferris wheel visible from bed. Such a great room. It was spacious, the toilet was smart, and there was a capsule coffee machine and Dyson hairdryer. Very good value for money. The bed and pillows were so comfortable that I slept until almost 8 am, even though I'm usually an early riser. Breakfast had a good, plentiful selection, and the late-night porridge on the first floor was a thoughtful touch. The location made it easy to walk down to Jingang Bridge to feed the seagulls and watch the Ferris wheel, and Ancient Culture Street and Italian Style Town were also very close. Two nights was the right choice. Cycling along the Haihe River was wonderfully relaxing. Highly recommend it. Even in the off-season the hotel was busy, so business seems good.
