The convention center is right across the street. My room was very comfortable, and the gym’s equipment was new and well maintained. Breakfast had a broad choice of Western and Chinese food.

I couldn’t find many things to do in the surrounding area, but I was very satisfied with my four-night business stay. The lobby is beautiful, and the front desk greeted me as soon as I arrived. They upgraded me from a basic room to one with a spectacular view of the lake. It was huge, with a double sink and a gigantic bathtub, and I was able to rest well despite my jet lag. Breakfast was a bit pricey, but the selection was amazing. They had the famous bao-zi and pastries to introduce tourists to traditional Tianjin food, and the coffee tasted great.

The breakfast was lavish, with options for vegetarians like bread, butter, cheese, yogurt, fruit, vegetable noodles, milk, and juice. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. It’s away from the city center, but convenient for the airport and for getting out of the city. There are a few restaurants nearby, including KFC, about 25 meters away. I recommend staying here.

The only issue was finding a taxi willing to take a short trip. The hotel offered to call one through its local Uber or Didi Chuxing, and a taxi arrived within minutes, which impressed me. It’s a new hotel with very well-designed rooms. Mine was spacious and comfortable, with a business desk and sofa, plus a shower, toilet, Jacuzzi, and two washbasins in an area as big as the bedroom.
