For a very low price, the room was luxurious, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is new, with crystal decor throughout, and the toilet was quite high-tech. The shower was very nice too. I stayed for one night in November this year and had a very nice stay. Great value for money.

The room was nice and the hotel felt very cozy. They say it’s five-star, and so far it was okay. The receptionist couldn’t speak English, which made things a bit of a hassle, but luckily I had a friend who speaks Mandarin. Muslim guests should be careful at breakfast. You can choose the vegetable dishes, though they might not suit our taste, since many Chinese dishes have a strong vegetable taste.

The front desk upgraded my room when I checked in. Orange Hotel is one of the more upscale budget chains, and the location is extremely convenient: very close to Tianjin Railway Station and the subway, right by the Haihe River, with a 7-Eleven across the street. The smart devices were a letdown, though. Early one morning, the speaker suddenly announced, “Bluetooth connected,” and woke me up.
