GreenTree Inn Tianjin Hedong District Tianjin Railway Station Square Express Hotel

For navigation, I’d suggest downloading a local map app like Amap or Baidu, since the hotel may be marked incorrectly on Google Maps. Getting a DiDi taxi means walking a few hundred meters to the roundabout for pickup and drop-off. It’s marked by the Century Clock and a striking bridge, and nearby buildings put on a colorful light show until 10 PM. The metro and train stations are close, and police patrols outside throughout the day and night felt reassuring. My room was at the far end, at least a 100-meter walk away. It was spacious, with lovely natural light when the curtains were open and a great view of the city and river. The shower was excellent, with dependable hot water. The lift, on the other hand, was very slow. We raised an air-conditioning problem with the front desk. They offered to help, but the only final option was a refund if we decided not to stay. The TV remote was also confusing to use each day. It’s a budget hotel, but probably not a good fit for travelers who need very good amenities and service.
