The staff’s hospitality and service amazed me. They paid attention to the details and made me feel important. The rooms were beautifully designed and comfortable. I can say this is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

The room was spotless, with no dust or signs of wear, and the design felt thoughtful. I was impressed by all the little touches, from the Dyson hairdryer and bath salts to the convenient key card system that selected the floor automatically. There was even complimentary parking if you used one of their limited self-parking spots and told the doorman your room number and name as you left. The staff were warm and attentive from the start. The doorman offered to help with my luggage when I arrived, and the lobby ambassador guided me to the front desk. Susan made check-in easy by leaving a key accessible and handing over my keys courteously with both hands. Housekeeping staff member Selena greeted me warmly and respectfully in the hallway. For our anniversary, Jordan and Jeffi arranged a personal welcome letter, rose petals spelling "LOVE," and towel swans. That was a special surprise. Other thoughtful gestures included a security guard personally showing me to the entrance, a lifeguard putting a towel over me as I left the pool, and the pool attendant offering a plastic bag for my wet clothes. The spa front desk staff also gave me a farewell gift and helped me with the elevator. All those small details and the kindness of the staff made this an unforgettable stay. I highly recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a personalized, luxurious experience.

I was visiting from the Four Seasons just to have tea, so I can't comment on the rooms. The venue itself has a distinctive style you don't really find elsewhere in Tianjin, and the lobby and lounge are lovely, atmospheric places to sit. The afternoon tea is worth trying, though the servings were much larger than we expected. For the three of us, dropping in and ordering one or two desserts worked just fine too. The service didn't match the setting. Nobody greeted us when we entered, and we only learned 15 minutes after sitting down that our table was reserved. I had to ask before anyone brought a menu. My dad doesn't speak Mandarin, and it became clear that only the lounge's general manager spoke English fluently, which made ordering difficult. It's a shame the guest experience falls short of what this hotel could offer, given the venue's potential to lead Tianjin's hotel scene.
