Getting around is easy from here: it’s near Tianjin’s centre and sits on the route to the airport. The hotel is also close to Line 2, with three stops to the main train station and four to the Italian quarter. The rooms are in good shape and have useful equipment, and the staff are friendly and helpful. My main gripes were the weak air conditioning and windows that don’t open, which meant little fresh air, especially when someone nearby ignored the no-smoking signs.

This is the best hotel around here, and we even got to see snow in mid-December.

I had a really lovely stay. The staff were kind and tried to help with a translation app, since communicating in English was still difficult. There was also a tall, cute barista at the hotel, with glasses, who always smiled when we came to the Market Cafe or the hotel lounge. People here rarely smiled back, so I sometimes felt awkward smiling first. His smile was a nice exception. Thanks!

We had a good stay, with nice service and comfortable accommodation. The rooms were clean, breakfast had plenty of choices, and the lobby was lovely, with a very nice bar. Everything felt perfect.
