The hotel was kept in pretty good shape, and the rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was fairly standard, though the croissants and chocolate bread were good. I heard it was due to stop operating at the end of October 2018, and I don't know what came next.

The room was spacious, but the amenities seemed a bit dated. The location is central, right beside a huge shopping mall and a subway station. The gym and pool, if there was one, were under maintenance during my stay. Breakfast was fine, while lunch could use improvement too. Decent overall, though it didn't quite feel like five-star quality.

There are restaurants and pubs a few hundred meters to the east, and the hotel is right by a mall and near the metro. It was comfortable and very clean, with a good range at breakfast. I'd recommend it in Tianjin.

For the price, it was a great place. This Japanese hotel was clean, the service was amazing, and the gym was top notch.

Plenty of restaurants and nearby shopping centers and department stores, plus a good location. It is a little old, though, and needs better upkeep.
