A very nice hotel, though it isn’t Western-style. Be ready for local character.

The rooms were clean and had huge beds, maybe king size. The hotel is good value, but the breakfast is disappointing for Westerners, though I imagine locals may like it. There’s little of interest within walking distance, and it feels far from everything, with few alternatives around. The staff speak little English.

The breakfast was tasty and offered a lot of variety. The building and rooms are older, but clean, and I had no complaints. I also noticed what looked like amusement park playground equipment on the same premises, which made me a bit uneasy. There seemed to be more Chinese guests here than at other hotels.
