The bed was genuinely comfortable, and the room seemed big and clean at first, but it felt worn out. The bathroom was dirty and badly needed a renovation. The TV signal was poor, and the view looked out onto a construction site, though that seems hard to avoid in Wuhan. Breakfast was really disappointing, with no toast or cereal and everything geared toward Chinese food. I love Chinese food, but the way it was presented here put me off trying it, and this was the only place where I worried about my health. The staff did try to help, so I rated the service good, though it was close to bad. FengYi feels like a hotel that used to be nice. I'd give it 4.5/10.

Mold was everywhere, and the room was noisy. Most of the time on the 16th floor I couldn't get enough hot water, the Wi-Fi was too weak to be useful, and there was no outlet by the bed. Everything felt old or broken. Worst stay I've had, it deserves zero stars.
