The bed was roomy and comfortable, and the sheets and toiletries were spotless. The hotel also has a good range of recreation facilities, including a pool that stayed at a very steady temperature. My room was clean and well equipped, with wired internet and a computer that worked fine. Getting around was easy too: the subway and a Carrefour supermarket are both about a ten-minute walk away.

I remember buying a bat at the neighborhood market. Sadly, it didn't agree with me, and I came down with flu-like symptoms. I went back to England, and that's how the whole story started.

The annex was especially run-down, and the facilities elsewhere felt old too. For what you get, the prices are absurdly high.
