Jinjiang Inn (Hankou Railway Station)

A good place to sleep if you need to line up for the hospital.

Worth visiting once, but I wouldn’t come back.

The free Wi-Fi was fast, and breakfast was tasty at 18 yuan per person, though guests aren't allowed to take photos. The hotel is roughly 10 minutes from Hankou Railway Station, but Jinjiadun Bus Station is a 25-minute walk away. The building feels old, and some rooms have no windows. Jinjiang Inn lists several room categories, such as standard and business A or B, but the differences weren't clear when we booked online. We had reserved a room without a window, yet the staff gave us one with a window, which seemed like an upgrade. It was still cramped, and the cleaning was poor: there were used towels and empty condom wrappers in a cabinet, plus ads featuring women scattered by the door. I hope they start checking the drawers during cleaning.

Getting around is easy, with good train and metro connections, and the location works well. The room had a toilet. The place was reasonably clean, and breakfast was decent, though there was no coffee and it could be better. Communication was really hard because the staff spoke neither English nor Spanish, so you need Chinese. There are nicer options, but for the price it isn't bad.
