There's a big terrace with nighttime views, though the bar is often empty and sits down one flight of stairs on the third floor, with no elevator. Gaoma Road is right by the Yangtze River, and Lihuangpi Road, which has recently become popular, is just outside. The boutique hotel has balconies, and while the rooms are small, the beds are comfortable. The sofas looked like they could use a good clean. Service was average and breakfast nothing special. At about 500 RMB a night with tax, I didn't think the value was great. If the location appeals to you, Marco Polo Hotel is next door and might be worth trying.

The setting is great, right on the Yangtze River beach, beside Cultural and Creative Street with its historic buildings. Ba Gong House, where internet celebrities gather, is just behind the hotel. Inside, the room was neat and clean, with all the bathroom facilities and supplies I needed. Breakfast was plentiful and really good, and the price felt like very good value.
