I used to make this my regular Wuhu base, coming three or four times a year and staying for about a week each visit. They gave me access to FB and YouTube, and upgraded my room every time. Since the management changed, though, the place has gone downhill for me. I was especially disappointed when they closed the second-floor bar, which my friends and I really enjoyed. Since November 2016 I've stayed at other hotels by the river instead. I hope the management at Crowne Plaza pays attention to what guests need and makes some changes.

It's close to downtown.

The room might have been a little upscale, but the view made it worthwhile, and I've attached photos. It all cost €50. The hotel also has a great location, very spacious rooms with a large, comfortable bed, and an excellent breakfast. Hospitality was perfect too. Good.

The surroundings were pleasant. I spent over a year here on business trips while staying at a five-star hotel, then came back for one more night on vacation.

It's old, and I could hear people talking next door.
