The service has improved a lot since I last came back after two years. The breakfast room is smaller now, though. I brought two colleagues here with me, and the pool, sauna, and gym were all fine. I’ll be back.

It’s a little away from the old city centre, but M-mall is right across the street for a quick bite. The hotel also hosts nice wedding parties, and there’s a liquor store next door.

The Club lounge is nice, and service was quite good for a hotel in China. The rooms are pretty standard, and Nanchang Road, with its many shops and stores, is nearby. The problem was the temperature. They turned on central heat throughout the building and disabled the room cooling, leaving our room stuck at an excessively warm 77 degrees (25 Celsius). It’s really unacceptable to assume everyone wants a warm room. My wife and I were uncomfortable, so I’d be unlikely to stay here again.

The breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were very friendly and spoke good English. We ate at two of the restaurants, and both meals were good. The fitness centre has enough to keep you occupied. It’s a very good hotel for the price, and I’d highly recommend staying here while in Wuxi.

There are several dining choices both inside the hotel and nearby, and its location overlooking a large park works well for families or anyone wanting to relax. The rooms are spacious and clean, with large, well-appointed bathrooms. Breakfast is included and offers plenty of variety. The hotel’s other amenities are well maintained and managed, and the location isn’t bad.
