The room layout was a little strange, with the bathroom taking up the whole front of the room. Still, the hotel looked really nice, and everything was clean, modern and comfortable, with plenty of space. It was quiet at night, and breakfast had a good range of Chinese and Western food and drinks.

The place has its own character, but service is practically absent. The auntie who brings things to the room pries into guests' privacy, which made me uncomfortable.

The breakfast was plentiful, and there's a private shuttle for evening cherry blossom viewing and performances. My room was spacious, with classic, elegant amenities. At Nianhua Bay, the lobby's lotus flower decorations give it a Buddhist feel. A very nice resort hotel.

The main thing that stayed with me was just how huge the area is. There are food shops, but the prices aren't cheap 😂. Nianhua Bay is such a poetic name, and arriving in the drizzle with the scenery around me made me give the place a thumbs up. It feels like a hidden paradise, with occasional mountain and water performances, and Zui Chun Fang isn't the only place to stay. The different accommodations each have their own character. I stayed at Zui Chun Fang, which has an antique, elegant exterior. But there was a big problem: a strong drain smell kept reaching the sleeping area. That really needs fixing 🙄.
