Sheraton Jiangyin Hotel

The staff were consistently friendly and courteous, and the club lounge was a well-kept, peaceful place to unwind. Rooms were comfortable and well maintained, though the decor could use an update. The property is sprawling, with a 24/7 gym, a welcoming pool, and plenty of parking. I’d recommend trying the Japanese restaurant. Joy Club has a stylish feel, but it doesn’t seem to have caught on with guests yet. A solid, convenient place to stay in Jiangyin.

There’s a park right beside this huge hotel, and it’s one of the best places to stay in Jiangyin. Marriott Elite members are recognized, and the staff are generally very service minded. The rooms are large and comfortable. I’d consider staying here again whenever I’m in Jiangyin.

The hotel still has Sheraton quality, even if it’s a little old. The staff were attentive and lovely, and my room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, with a high domed ceiling in a European style. The bedding and toilet were comfortable and clean too. I was told my view faced the garden, but an unfinished building under construction blocked about half of it. The happy hour lounge was great, though beer was the only alcoholic drink. Breakfast on the lobby level had limited choices and focused mainly on Chinese food. The Wi-Fi connection was great.

The lounge was a letdown after the Sheraton board’s special visit. During that visit we got extra good food and drinks, but the other days weren’t nearly as good. Otherwise, it’s a nice hotel near the highway in Jiangyin, with big, clean rooms and a lounge. There’s a pool, fitness area, and sauna, and the staff are friendly.
