Angsana Xi'an Lintong

We picked this resort style place because it's close to the Terracotta Warriors. The reception staff were very nice, but the property felt dated throughout. It was crowded with families and young children, and the food was below average and incredibly expensive. Almost everyone seemed to have meals delivered to their rooms. Later on, the corridors and elevators filled with delivery workers. Next time we'll stay in downtown Xi'an instead, where there's more choice and good food.

I've stayed here twice over the past two years. The rooms are big, clean, and comfortable, and the hotel feels very new. The hot spring is a lot of fun and, after a day of travel, the best way to unwind. Entry ends at midnight and it closes at 1:00. It's a bit expensive, but the best in Lintong, maybe even in Xi'an.

We really enjoyed the hot springs, and both the rooms and food were fantastic. There was some stress from a miscommunication between Accor and Angsana, but the staff did their best to sort it out and help us feel comfortable.

This is a beautiful, upscale hotel and resort outside Xian, near the emperor's tomb and the warriors. The services were impeccable, with a beautiful spa, hot spring outlet, one of the largest indoor pools, and fine dining. It's not cheap, but worthwhile. Highly recommended.
